new friends.

have you ever had those moments when you admire a family from afar that you only kind of know, or maybe even friends of a friend that you don't even know at all and think to yourself  "we would be friends if life permitted" in most cases distance plays a huge part keeping that from happening. well that, and of course the creepy reality that your "relationship" is based on blog/facebook stalking so in most cases a real friendship never comes to be. sad. One of those families that I tend to be drawn to is the Tanner family . I kind of sort of knew Christine from a bunch of years ago. She seemed like fun, and she dressed cute. then she moved away, got married and had 2 babies. a girl and a boy. just like us though hers are slightly older and built a life in utah. during her most recent california visits we tried desperately to get together but our busy schedules wouldn't allow it. until this week. we met at the park. the stars all aligned and i knew i had found a dear friend in this girl. husbands got along, we got along, our kids got along. it was a party. unfortunately they were making the trek back to their home the next day and so we said our goodbyes hoping to catch up again the next time we crossed paths. well this family, being the crazy free spirited folks that they are, have decided to put in their 30 days notice at their current place, pack up their belongings and move out here to sunny san diego with faith that everything will all work out. and so the party continues. even though we played no part in their decision to move whatsoever, i like to think that our little families will be great pals in real life from here on out.

Nikki that's a sweet story. Remember when you kinda clicked with another Tanner family that you only knew on the internet at first? That kinda worked out... ;-)

Is it weird that I'm jealous of Emmy's outfits? She must have a better closet selection that I.

Emily, you ARE my friend in real life, duh! If only we got to play on a more regular basis. Every 2 years kinda blows. :)
