nesting

i'm not certain as to what has gotten into my system, but i'm cleaning our place like a molly maid on speed. i can't stop. things cannot get done quick enough and i can't even finish one task before moving on to the next and creating a list of 10 other things to complete. i needed to take a break. so here i am. i got online to check out my baby center updates and low and behold...i am nesting. apparently quite common at this point of pregnancy and nothing to fear.  i think this is the first kind of crazy that gregory will be able to appreciate. tomorrow i enter the third, and final trimester. i can't believe that we will get to meet this sweet little ninja child (she doesn't sleep...EVER) in just 12 weeks (give or take...hopefully take).

i changed my mind on the crib bedding....the other was cute...but when i saw a picture of it all set up with the bumper and sheets....it was too white and not girly.....so i'm going with my second choice:

do you love it? i do! the walls will be light lime-ish green, and lots of pink, yellow, green and white accents. i think it will be darling once it all comes together. i'll be sure to post pictures!

sunshine lollypops and rainbows.

summer is here, no more june gloom.  i would normally be ecstatic by this realization....but this year i am growing quite large at a rather fast pace and i have a feeling that the heat will not be my friend.

-vacation last week was splendid, but it's over :( i miss shell.

-we officially have insurance!!! high fives for free babies!! (well almost free...it looks as though getting reimbursed for the $1100 i've spent thus far on checkups will not be coming my way anytime soon...or ever) 

-my happy day of birth is in TWO days...yup, 25 years of age in just TWO days. i nearly have a heart attack when i think about it. a quarter of a century. whew! i plan to celebrate thursday night with the padres and you're invited! 

- another sweet baby has captured my heart. i got some quality cuddling in with sweet ava last week while tanner and alana were here. what a doll. i love her. all these babies make me beyond excited for my own!

i truly wish i could be celebrating in canada and not in the united states of america. there really isn't a whole lot of celebration for canada here, but my heart is full of love for my country today.

oh canada, you have always been good to me. i love you. happy birthday.
