color blind.

a conversation with emmerson this evening...

em: "mommy! apples!"
me: "nope, those are oranges."
em: "ohhhhh. green!"
me: nope. oranges are orange."
em: "ohhhh. purple!"
me: ...............blank stare.

clearly we are still working on our colors....

    I'm pretty sure your daughter is a genius. No need to work on colors. My daughter was born on the same day, and she doesn't say ANY of the words you just listed. She's a caveman. =)
